Eyewear: Copenax “Javel” and “Duggomier“
I’m a big eyewear guy and always have a pair with me on the go. But when it comes on choosing the right pair, it may seem like a daunting task. One may be too over the top, or too basic. So what’s my trick? I like choosing something in between for those moments when a look just needs that extra touch. I’ve recently discovered a Korean eyewear brand Copenax with it’s modern yet classic inspired frames. What I like about these frames is that they are able to transition from look to look easily. Given my eccentric wardrobe style, I found that they do give me that Bond-ish guy look when in a suit, but still trendy when in shorts and a nice dress shirt out in…let’s say, a rooftop or beach. In addition, the frames are designed better to fit most Asian faces, for comfort and a flattering aesthetic. The fun doesn’t stop there though, their Instagram and online inventory has a variety of frames to suit ones personality along at a reasonable price point.
So to test out these babies, I teamed up with NYC based photographer Vakku Society on the streets of Chelsea and shot looks with two of my favorite jackets from Gucci. Check out the fit below!
